WWE Superstar Jordan Devlin has been accused of physical assault by a woman named Hannah Francesca. The current Cruiserweight Champion is currently signed to the NXT UK Division, and hasn’t competed on TV since the start of the COVID-19 pandemic.
Devlin won the Cruiserweight Championship at WWE’s Worlds Collide event back in January, and had defended it on NXT U.K., NXT, and 205 Live just prior to the start of the COVID-19 pandemic. In April, with Devlin unable to travel outside the U.K., WWE announced a tournament to crown an Interim Cruiserweight Champion. It would later be won by Santos Escobar , with plans of a future unification match in the works.
As of this our, neither Devlin nor WWE have made any public statements regarding the allegations. While this is not confirmed by the company, it seems that WWE has simply named Santos Escobar the official Cruiserweight Champion. The word “Interim” does not appear anywhere in his bio, and when one clicks on the “Cruiserweight Championship” Icon, only Escobar’s name appears on WWE’s official website.
Again, at this time, WWE has not made any public statements regarding either of these allegations. If found to be true, WWE will most likely take action to terminate their contracts.
