On Sunday, WWE presents the last Pay Pew View on the Road To WrestleMania titled Fast Lane. With WrestleMania 37 just a few weeks away, who is going to walk out of Fast Lane as the winner?
Braun Strowman vs Shane McMahon
Over the past few weeks, WWE has been building a feud between Braun Strowman and Shane McMahon for WrestleMania. Even though they are scheduled for a match at Fast Lane I’m not expecting much out of this outside of Strowman getting payback for what McMahon did to him Monday on RAW.
Winner: Braun Strowman.
Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler (c) (with Reginald) vs. Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair For The WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship
Just last month, Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler defeated Sasha Banks and Bianca Belair to retain the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship. Since then, Jax and Baszler have convinced Reginald to be in their corner. With Reginald, Jax and Baszler have some help in their corner. With Banks and Belair facing each other for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania, I can’t see WWE having them as Tag Team Champions.
Prediction: Nia Jax and Shayna Baszler
Riddle (c) vs. Mustafa Ali For The United States Championship
Since Riddle has become United States Champion last month, Mustafa Ali has been making his presence known in an effort to take the title away from him. Despite losing to Riddle on Monday with the title on the line, Ali gets another opportunity at Fast Lane. Even though Ali is well-deserving of a United States Title Run, Riddle just won the title a month ago so to have him lose the title this quickly into his reign would be pointless.
Shinsuke Nakamura vs. Seth Rollins
Over the past few weeks, Seth Rollins has been a thorn in Cesaro’s side. This match should be interesting, even though it was just made on Friday Night during SmackDown Live. Even though Nakamura would benefit from a win, this is Seth Rollins’s first match since the Royal Rumble so WWE will want Rollins to have some momentum heading to WrestleMania and the best way to do that is having him win this match.
Prediction: Seth Rollins
Big E (c) vs. Apollo Crews For The WWE Intercontinental Championship
Over the past few weeks, fans have seen a new side of Apollo Crews ever since he turned heel. Big E has been the biggest example of that, with Crews taking him out of action for several weeks. Even though Crews has been incredible the past few weeks, Big E is motivated and out for revenge will walk out the champion, and hopefully, this feud continues into WrestleMania.
Prediction: Big E
Drew McIntyre vs. Sheamus
With WWE already booking Drew McIntyre vs Bobby Lashley for the WWE Championship at WrestleMania, WWE will want McIntyre to head to his feud with Lashley on a high note. McIntyre defeating Sheamus at Fast Lane does just that.
Prediction: Drew McIntyre
Alexa Bliss vs. Randy Orton
Since Randy Orton set The Fiend on fire in December at TLC, Alexa Bliss has been making his life a nightmare costing him matches against Edge and AJ Styles. Along with costing Orton matches, Bliss has also played mind games with Orton. This match is just a way to bring back The Fiend so I’m not expecting much for this match outside of mind games and Fiend returning.
Prediction: No Contest
Roman Reigns (c) (with Paul Heyman) vs. Daniel Bryan for the WWE Universal Championship Edge as the special guest enforcer
With Edge scheduled to face Roman Reigns at WrestleMania for the Univeral Championship, it’s not likely that Reigns will be losing his title here. Despite a fighting chance by Bryan, Reigns will be the Univeral Champion heading to WrestleMania.
Prediction: Roman Reigns
