Over twenty games into the season, the New York Rangers are 13-10-2 and currently sit third in the Metropolitan Division.
In their last ten games the Rangers are 6-3-1 and have found themselves in 13th place in the NHL, in what was supposed to be a rebuild season for New York.
Chris Kreider and Mika Zibanejad lead the way with 21 points each.
Kreider with 13 goals, and 8 assists, Zibanejad with 8 goals, and 13 assists.
Kevin Hayes also has recorded 5 goals, and 12 assists.
On Defense, Pionk leads the way with 4 goals, and 11 assists.
Skjei, and DeAngelo both have 2 goals, and 6 assists as well.
Despite the Rangers facing 33.3 shots a game, Veteran Henrik Lundqvist has been getting the job done with a record of 9-7-2, goals against average of 2.60, and a save percentage of .921.
Backup Alexandar Georgiev has played in seven games earning a record of 4-3-0, a save percentage of .903, and a goals against average of 3.12.
Special teams is an area that could use some improvement as New York is currently 19th on the power play, and penalty kill, 18.5% and 78.5% respectively.
However, first year Head Coach David Quinn has done an excellent job thus far with a team expected to experience little success this season.
The Rangers will travel to Ottawa to take on the Senators tomorrow night at 7:30 PM ET.
