Why Super ShowDown could lead to Undertaker vs. Sting

Why Super ShowDown could lead to Undertaker vs. Sting

With these events overseas in Saudia Arabia and Australia, WWE likes to bring back the older guys. We know this.

At Super Show-Down last year in Melbourne, we saw The Undertaker take on Triple H. Then at the Crown Jewel event in Riyadh, we saw Undertaker and Kane take on Triple H and the out-of-retirement Shawn Michaels. Now, at Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia we are going to see, for the first time ever, The Undertaker go up against the returning Goldberg. When big money is involved, these stars can’t say no. Mick Foley even said that for the right price, he would even come out of retirement.

With that being said, I can’t help but think that the dream match that fans have been clamoring for since 1998, The Undertaker vs. Sting, is hypothetically back on the table. WWE is trying to sell these shows with name value. That is why they are throwing money around like crazy to old stars. They are proven commodities. Sting is a proven commodity.

He needs to be on the shortlist for the next big event that the WWE may have. All Sting has wanted is to have one last match against The Undertaker. This is the only reason, he hasn’t closed the door on his in-ring career just yet. He’s still open to one last match and with a match at one of these “special” events overseas, there is less pressure then say, them having a match at Survivor Series. Honestly, it’s all up to Undertaker. If he wants it to happen, then I’m positive it can happen. We know Sting will be down for it, and if Taker beats Goldberg, it will only add fuel to the fire.

Listen up WWE, there are very few possible dream matches available. This is one of them. Let’s make it happen.
