Washington Football Team Makes Another Splash In Free Agency

The Washington Football Team has made a little bit of noise in this years free agency period. From adding veteran QB Ryan Fitzpatrick, CB William Jackson, and RB Lamar Miller, the Football Team is looking to revamp and rebuild the entire system. Ron Rivera’s next big name coming in is former Carolina Panthers WR Curtis Samuel. Samuel is signing on for a 3 year, $34.5 million deal.

Teams like the Patriots and Bears were sniffing around Samuel and he eventually decided to join on with the Football Team. In Carolina Samuel made a name for himself as he headed towards this free agency period. At just 25 years old he still will develop into his prime alongside now teammate Terry Mclaurin. McLaurin and Samuel were both teammates at Ohio St and will now be on the field together for the Washington Football Team. Washington has found themselves a deadly team for Fitzmagic to throw to as they go into the 2021.

The crafty wideout can do more than just catch the ball. Samuel is the only WR in the NFL to have 10 receiving touchdowns and 5 rushing touchdowns over the last three seasons. In his career he has 185 receptions for 2,087 yards and 14 touchdowns. In the rushing game he has 72 rushes for 478 yards and 5 touchdowns.
