UFC On Fox 29 Prelim Predictions

This Saturday marks the UFC’s 29th Time appearing on FOX. It takes place in Glendale, Arizona. This installment of the UFC On FOX Series happens to be one of my favorites. The card is stacked with talent, anda the prelims are especially exciting. I hope to see a lot of finishes and maybe a few new contenders rise up.

Luke Sanders vs Patrick Williams: both fighters are coming off losses. I assume this will be a grappling match, and I’ll take Sanders by decision.

Matthew Lopez vs Alejandro Pérez: Both of these men are prolific finishers. I see Lopez using his size to pressure Pérez and get the second round TKO win.

Arjan Bhullar vs Adam Wieczorek Bhullar is the better wrestler but lacks the finishing ability, whereas Wieczorek is better submission guy. I see a Wieczorek submission win in the first round.

Dhiego Lima vs Yushin Okami: both men desperately need a win here. Okami is a big welterweight but it isn’t his natural weight class. I see my boy Dhiego picking him apart on the feet and getting a huge decision win.

Shana Dobson vs Lauren Mueller: I honestly feel sorry for Mueller here, Dobson is a savage. I see an easy TKO win here for Shana in for first round. Her pace and ferocity won’t be matched by Mueller.

Gilbert Burns vs Dan Moret: This is a grapplers dream match! Both guys have a background in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. With that said, I’m going with Moret to get a late third round submission.

Krzysztof Jotko vs Brad Tavares: I’ve been a Tavares fan since TUF season 11. Jotko has a lot of tools to win, but his striking is rudimentary. I see Tavares sticking and moving all the way to a decision win.

Wilson Reis vs John Moraga: This is a battle of veterans in the flyweight division. Reis is desperate for a win. I think he gets it here, by late third round TKO to end his two fight losing skid.

Muslim Salikhov vs Ricky Rainey: This fight I feel is very even. Both fighters like a good finish. But, Salikhov is the more prolific finisher and striker. I see a first round KO win for Muslim Salikhov.

Tim Boetsch vs Antõnio Carlos Junior: this fight sucks for Boetsch, he’s been submitted four times. I think Carlos Junior makes it five on Saturday in the second round.
