After losing star Center Auston Matthews ten games due to a shoulder injury, the Maple Leafs have been able to go 10-3-2 in their last fifteen games.

Toronto is now third in the Atlantic Division, five points behind Boston, with just seven games remaining in their season.

Matthews was able to return to the line up in Thursday’s game against Nashville, where the Leafs were able to beat the Predators 5-2.

More recently, in the last seven games, Toronto is 6-1-0 and with only two games against current playoff teams remaining, the Maple Leafs have a chance finish their season on a high note with some momentum and confidence heading into the playoffs.

Toronto will host Buffalo Monday night at 7:00 PM ET, where they are certainly expecting to obtain two points as Buffalo is currently last in the league.
