New Jersey’s struggles are obvious.
The Devils can win games at home, however it appears to be impossible for them to win games on the road.
New Jersey is 6-1-2 at home, and are 2-8-0 on the road.
Even worse the Devils have gone 3-6-1 in the last ten games and have fallen to seventh in the Metropolitan Division.
For the Devils its simple, find a way to win games on the road.
New Jersey will host the Montreal Canadiens Wednesday night at 7 PM ET.
The Pittsburgh Penguins have gone 2-7-1 in their last ten games, and now currently sit last in the Metropolitan Division.
Sidney Crosby has 8 goals, and 11 assists in 16 games played, Malkin has 7 goals, and 18 assists, and Phil Kessel has 9 goals, and 14 assists.
Goaltending has been an issue for Pittsburgh with starter Matt Murray having a 4.08 goals against average, and a .877 save percentage in 11 games played.
Backup Casey DeSmith has performed better than Murray in his 11 games played, recording a 2.25 goals against average, and a .930 save percentage.
Special teams has not been the issue for the Penguins as Pittsburgh has the seventh power play in the league (25.4%), and are fifteenth in the league on the penalty kill (80.0%).
Pittsburgh will host the Buffalo Sabres tonight who are currently on a five game winning streak are third in the Atlantic Division.
