Top 2021 NFL Prospects Opt Out Of Season

Top prospects Micah Parsons and Gregory Rousseau have opted of the the upcoming college football season and have declared for the NFL Draft. Both Parsons and Rousseau are projected top 10 picks in next year’s draft.

Reasoning is obviously due to the concern over COVID-19. With both of these players already projected so highly, it’ll be hard to improve their draft stock, and I don’t believe this will hurt them. Teams already have tape on them and know their abilities. A year to get healthy and prep for the combine is probably the best, and could set a precedent for top rated prospects in years to come.
