The Yankees have acquired J.A. Happ

According to multiple baseball insiders and others, its seems as though the New York Yankees have traded Brandon Drury and Billy McKinney to the Toranto Blue Jay’s 35-year-old lefty J.A. Happ.

Happ, a 12 year veteran, has been more than solid this season, riding with a 4.18 ERA, 1.18 WHIP , and with 130 strikeouts over 114 innings. Happ was seen by many as the most cost effective pitcher for the Yankees to peruse, being that he is on the last year of a 3-year $38 million contract.

At this time, neither team has made the trade official, however,  it is speculated that baring any physical/health concerns – its a done deal.
