Suns Making Room for Free Agency

Suns Making Room for Free Agency

NBA sources say that the Phoenix Suns will not be re-signing point guard Elfrid Payton and Center Alex Len.

This will give the Suns approximately $10 million to use for free agency.

After drafting Deandre Ayton it was clear that the Suns had found their replacement for Len as his contract was expiring.

Len played five seasons with the Suns.

Although Phoenix gave up a second round pick mid season last year for Payton, it was enough time for the Suns organization to realize he’s not the answer for them.

In addition they already have Brandon knight who had missed last season with a knee injury to slide right in and take his place.

Payton averaged 11.8 points and 6.2 assists in his 19 games with the Suns and will probably be remembered for his horrid shooting percentages.

      1. I think he’s a “get mine”. Type of player. I personally don’t think he is worth investing in. Very turnover happy as well. But I respect your opinion. He’s great for fantasy and daily fantasy lol
