While most of the world is preoccupied with the NFL on championship Sunday, Ryan Garcia (21-0, 18 KO’s) decided to shock the boxing community. Ryan Garcia announced through Instagram that his next fight will be with boxing legend Manny Pacquiao.
Garcia is coming off a 7th round win over Luke Campbell who he defeated by technical knockout. The fight was the first time Garcia touched the canvas when he suffered a flash knockdown in the 2nd round.
Manny Pacquiao (62-7, 39 KO’s) is the current WBA Welterweight Champion and has not seen the ring since he last defeated Keith Thurman by unanimous decision in 2019 for the WBA Welterweight Championship.
