The Washington Football Team made a big move in free agency as Ryan Fitzpatrick is set to sign a one year deal. The deal is worth up to $10 million and could range all the way to $12 million. Washington gets an experienced 38 year old Harvard graduate to mentor and lead the QB.

Brian Flores and the Dolphins made the call randomly in the season to bench Ryan Fitzpatrick. No one saw it coming and it came at a time when the Dolphins were playing well. Flores decided that rookie QB Tua Tagovailoa would be a better for for the team moving forward.
Washington cut Alex Smith earlier in last week and re-signed AFC Wild Cars wonder Taylor Heinicke to a two year contract. It seemed very unlikely that Ron Rivera was going to move forward with Heinicke as they were heavily rumored to finding a new QB all off-season.
