Nashville Goalie Pekka Rinne has been put on injured reserve after suffering an undisclosed injury due to a collision with teammate Kevin Fiala.
Rinne is currently 3-1-0 with a goals against average of 2.11.
This has created a tremendous opportunity for backup Juuse Saros who was voted to the All-Rookie team last season.
It will be interesting how the defending President’s Trophy winners will respond to this.
