RESULTS: Xfinity NASCAR Racing Experience 300

Noah Gragson survived a late race red-flag to claim his first career Xfinity Series victory. Gragson drove the No. 9 JR Motorsports Chevrolet Camaro to victory in his 37th career Xfinity Series start. Series rookie Harrison Burton finished in second, while Timmy Hill posted a career best finish in third. Brandon Jones finished in fourth driving the No. 19 for Joe Gibbs Racing while Chase Briscoe finished fifth after leading the field to the final restart.

In one of the longer post race celebrations we’ve seen in some time, and of course after a burnout, Gragson climbed the fence to celebrate the victory with the fans, who roared to the sight of the 21-year old celebrating. After a “Duke’s of Hazard” style slide across the hood of his No. 9 Chevrolet, Gragson made his way to victory lane with team owner Dale Earnhardt Jr. waiting to greet his young driver.

  1. How can they have ended the race with a caution before a driver crossed finish line with no green white checker? There was no green white checker why not?

    1. When the field takes the white flag, white they did, the next flag ends the race. If the caution had happened a lap prior, there would have been a green/white/checkered.
