The Los Angeles Rams have traded wide receiver Brandin Cooks to the Houston Texans. Houston will give up their 2020 2nd round pick and receive the Ram’s 4th. The Texans are obviously trying to bring in a talented wide receiver to replace Deandre Hopkins, whom they traded to the Arizona Cardinals a couple weeks ago.

Cooks is coming off of his worst season, which saw him only hauling in 42 receptions for 583 yards and 2 touchdowns in 14 games. The Rams have depth at the position with Cooper Kupp and Robert Woods, which could explain Cook’s lack of targets this past season. It will be interesting to see how Cooks fits in with Deshaun Watson in Bill O’Brien’s offense.
