Price Sent Home

David Price has been sent back to Boston to undergo a test on numbness in his hand that seems to be reoccuring.

Earlier in the season, Price was removed from a start after he experienced numbness in his throwing hand. Further testing showed nothing wrong, and he was back in the rotation for his next start.

Alex Cora, Boston Red Sox manager, told NBC Sports Boston that the sensation has come back, and the team will take precautionary measures, removing Price from his start Wednesday against the New York Yankees. Rick Porcello will make the start instead.

With the tests yet to be done, it is unsure if the 32-year-old will be placed on the DL or not.
