Marvin Lewis just got a new two year deal as coach but he has to still be on the hot seat. Players need to step up and bring him back to the playoffs.

Former first round pick WR John Ross. Ross was a top ten pick by Cincinnati in 2017. His rookie year was cut short due to a knee injury. He was a healthy scratch for most of the start of the season after fumbling the first time he ever touched the ball.

Number two gap since Marvin Jones and Mohammed Sanu left. If Ross can’t Breakout this season, Lewis will be under the gun by fans and executives alike due to his management of Ross in his unspectacular rookie year.

He has the potential to be a number one receiver but doesn’t need to. AJ Green is the clear number one on this team. They don’t need Ross to be the guy. They just need him to produce.

If he is going to make an impact, he needs to stay healthy. From college all the way until now he has been riddled with various injuries. During the scouting process he had to get surgery on his shoulder for a torn labrum.
