Philadelphia Fires Pederson After 5 Seasons

After finishing the season 4-11-1, last place in the NFC East, and benching Jalen Hurts for Nate Sudfeld in the last game of the season, the Philadelphia Eagles will now be looking for a new head coach. On Monday, the team fired Doug Pederson after 5 seasons with the team. Pederson was hired in 2016 to replace Chip Kelly.

In 5 seasons with Philadelphia, Pederson had a record of 43-27-1 and finishing with 9 wins or more 3 out of the 5 seasons. Pederson also led the team to a Super Bowl defeating the New England Patriots at Super Bowl 52.
