Montreal Canadiens star Max Pacioretty is entering his last year on his current contract.
There has been no talks about an extension in the works, Pacioretty even stated this past weekend at his annual golf tournament, that no one from the Montreal organization has talked to him about a contract.
Pacioretty is coming off a career low year, a year where he did not record his average 30 goals.
However, with the experience and skill of the 30 year old, Pacioretty is on track for a rebound season.
Many people including Eric Engels at SportsNet expect a trade to be made by the trade deadline in February, if one does not occur within the next two weeks.
Numerous teams would have interest in Pacioretty as a Veteran goal scorer and leader.
More updates are to come as necessary.
