New Japan has announced that after Power Struggle, they will not only run their World Tag League Tournament, but also run the 27th Best of the Super Jr. tournament as well! If the G1 Climax is the best run annual wrestling tournament, Best of the Super Jr. is a sure second.
Both World Tag League and Best of the Super Jr. are run round robin style and have been host to some of the best talent around the world. For World Tag League, they have had talent such as Killer Elite Squad (Lance Archer and Davey Boy Smith Jr.) and War Machine (Currently known as Viking Raiders) in the mix. BoSJ has had legends from around the world in Eddie Guerrero and Chris Jericho.
BoSJ was scheduled to run in May, but due to Covid-19, was cancelled. Now it will run along side the World Tag League, starting November 15th, with the finals being held on December 11th. With two tournaments to keep track of, the real question now is who shall compete in them?
The best tag teams and junior weights from around the world duking it out for a chance at IWGP gold is something people will not want to miss!
