Six weeks into the season and we continue to see familiar faces dominating the NHL statistically.
Check out the top three performers from this week in the NHL.
3rd Star: Cale Makar
This week Cale Makar certainly made a case for why he should be considered for the Calder Trophy as Rookie of the Year.

In three games this week the Rookie Defenseman scored four goals, two of which were game winning goals, along with two assists for a total of six points.
On top of this Makar finished the week with a plus-minus of plus-4.
Makar now has five goals, and thirteen assists on the season.
2nd Star: Leon Draisaitl

The NHL’s point leader had himself another solid week.
In four games played Draisaitl recorded two goals, and seven assists for a total of nine points.

Draisaitl now has 36 points on the season between his 15 goals, and 21 assists.
1st Star: Nathan MacKinnon
Despite Gabriel Landeskog, and Mikko Rantanen being out with injuries, Nathan MacKinnon has continued to record points at a consistent rate.
MacKinnon recorded three goals, and five assists for a total of eight points in three games played this week; this also included a plus-minus of plus-four on the week.

The Avalanche Center now has a total of 26 points on the season with his 11 goals, 15 assists.
