Heading into Week 2, the New York Giants were looking to rebound from losing to the Pittsburgh Steelers in week 1 26-16. During the game Saquon Barkley was held to only 6 yards on 15 carries. In Week 2 a lot of injuries occurred and one of them was to Barkley and it does not look good for the New York Giants. According to Adam Schefter, the team fears that Saquon Barkley suffered a torn ACL during the game against the Chicago Bears. Barkley left the game in the first half due to a leg injury. The team will be doing more test on Barkley on Monday to determine the severity of the injury.
In 13 games last season, Barkley rushed for 1,003 yards 6 touchdowns, averaging 4.6 yards per carry in 217 attempts.
