NASCAR Xfinity Series Beef. It’s What’s For Dinner. 300 at Daytona International Speedway Results

Cindric Claims first NASCAR Xfinity Series win of the season at Daytona International Speedway

The end of the 2020 NASCAR Xfinity Series season saw Austin Cindric take the championship for Penske Racing. Cindric started his 2021 season off the same way, claiming the win at Daytona International Speedway. The Penske Racing driver took the win in the Beef It’s What’s For Dinner 300. This is Cindric’s first win at Daytona International Speedway. Brett Moffitt finished .104 seconds behind Cindric at the end, claiming the best finish of his career. Burton cousins Harrison and Jeb Burton finished in third and fourth. Kaulig Racing driver AJ Allmendinger finished a strong fifth in his first start of a full season campaign with the team. Cindric stated after the win, “Obviously, coming off a lot of momentum with that championship last year, but nothing’s guaranteed. Try to do it again tomorrow, I guess.” He will make his first NASCAR Cup Series start Sunday in the Daytona 500.

Crashes Eliminate Many Top Drivers From Winning

Wrecks marred the final stage during the race. At the end, only a With 16 laps to go a large incident eliminated many of the top contenders. Daniel Hemric, Ty Dillon, Justin Allgaier, Josh Berry and Justin Haley fell victim to the incident. However, the largest wreck of the race took place on lap 75. Unfortunately, drivers such as Noah Gragson, Michael Annett, Jeffrey Earnhardt and Ryan Sieg would be out of the race after this wreck. Stage one winner Brandon Jones was also out of the race after a crash, which ended his chances for a win. Jones was collected by Myatt Snyder and sent spinning through the grass to end stage number two. Unfortunately, the damage Jones suffered would end his race.

Next for the NASCAR Xfinity Series will be the Daytona International Speedway road course. The race will be held next Saturday, February 20th at 7:30 PM EST and can be seen on Fox Sports 1.
