With the Red Sox coming down the stretch, the last thing they want is for a star player to get injured. Outfielder Mookie Betts left Sunday’s game in the sixth inning with left side soreness.
It doesn’t seem to be anything to serious as Betts is set to bat DH Tuesday against the Yankees. The Red Sox are on the cusp of clinching the division for the third strait year.
