Los Angeles Clippers And Doc Rivers Part Ways After 7 Seasons

Heading into the NBA Playoffs, the Los Angeles Clippers were heavy favorites in the Western Conference. In the first round, the team eliminated the Dallas Mavericks in 6 games to move onto the second round. In the second round, the team had a 3-1 series lead against the Denver Nuggets only to lose the next 3 games and get eliminated by Denver in 7 games. After getting eliminated by Denver, the team decided to make some moves this off-season and it all starts with the head coach. On Monday, the team announced they have parted ways with Doc Rivers after 7 seasons with the team.

In 7 seasons with Los Angeles, Doc Rivers finished with a record of 356-208. Rivers took the team to the playoffs in every season in his tenure outside of 2017-18 season. In the playoffs, Rivers had a record of 27-32.
