Kings Acquire Brendan Lemieux From Rangers

Since the start of the NHL Season, Brendan Lemieux has been struggling with the New York Rangers. Even though Lemieux had struggled, he is still talented enough to become an important depth player and now he is getting a change of scenery. On Saturday, the New York Rangers sent Lemieux to the Los Angeles Kings for a 2021 4th round pick.

In 31 games played this season, Lemieux has 2 goals, and 5 assists. After having a career season in points last season with 18 in 56 games played, Lemieux had a slow start this year, and with New York already having talented young players like Kaapo Kakko, Alexis Lafreniere, and K’Andre Miller, Lemieux was the odd man out.
