100 Wins for Kyle Busch in the NASCAR Xfinity Series

Kyle Busch claimed his 100th Xfinity Series race win. Busch claimed record setting 100th win Saturday at Nashville Superspeedway, a track that the series returned to this season for the first time since 2011. He claimed the checkered in the Tennessee Lottery 250 and 100th race win over a hard charging JR Motorsports driver Justin Allgaier who finished second. While the win puts his further ahead of the all-time Xfinity Series wins list, Busch mentioned former competitor Mark Martin on track after the race.

“I remember growing up as a kid and watching Mark Martin win every week, you know, in that No. 60 car. You just look at the domination that he had,” Kyle Busch stated after his 100th win. Just phenomenal years of being able to have such an association with Joe Gibbs Racing and Toyota. It’s so cool to have M&Ms on board for my 100th win here in the Xfinity Series. They’ve been my longest and best and best sports sponsor there is in my opinion. I want to give a shout-out to Rowdy Nation. I saw a lot of stand up with Allgaier took the lead and a lot of you sat back down when I took the lead. Pretty awesome day.”

How the Field Finished Behind Busch, Allgaier

Austin Cindric, who led the races first 53 laps, was caught up in a late race wreck during a restart. While racing behind eventual first and second place finishers Kyle Busch and Justin Allgaier, Cindric tangled with Michael Annett and Daniel Hemric. Annett and Hemric were able to continue on and finished in 12th and 13th, while Cindric did not finish the race, finishing in 32nd place.

Busch’s JGR teammate Harrison Burton finished in third Saturday, while Josh Berry and AJ Allmendinger rounded out the top five finishing fourth and fifth. Another Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota finished in sixth driven by Brandon Jones, who was followed by Jeb Burton who finished in seventh. Noah Gragson, Austin Hill and Riley Herbst rounded out the top ten finishing in eighth, ninth and tenth respectively.
