Krejci Injury Update

Krejci Injury Update

Boston Bruins’ Center David Krejci has been ruled day to day with an undisclosed upper body injury.

Krejci suffered the injury in the third period of Game 1 last night between the Boston Bruins and the Columbus Blue Jackets when Columbus’ Riley Nash delivered two solid body checks to the Bruins’ Forward.

Krejci would leave the game, and would not be on the bench for overtime, which ended with Boston native Charlie Coyle scoring his second goal of the night to give the Bruins a 3-2 win.

Following the game Coach Bruce Cassidy stated that although an upper body injury, it is not a concussion, which is reassuring to Bruins fans.

It is uncertain whether or not Krejci will be dressed for Game 2 tomorrow at 8:00 PM ET in Boston, however the Bruins certainly will feel the loss of their second line Center if he is out.
