Khabib Nurmagomedov Retires After Win at UFC 254

Since making his UFC Debut in 2011, Khabib Nurmagomedov has made a name for himself, proving to everyone that he is one of the best Lightweights to step inside the Octagon.

During his time in the UFC, Nurmagomedov has wins over the likes of Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier, Al Iaquinta and most recently Justin Gaethje. After defeating Gaethje at UFC 254 and retaining his UFC Lightweight Championship on Saturday, Khabib Nurmagomedov announced his retirement from MMA during his post fight interview with Joe Rogan.

During his MMA Career, Khabib Nurmagomedov had a record of 29-0 with 8 wins by knockout, 11 by submission, and 10 by decision. In the UFC, Nurmagomedov won the UFC Lightweight Championship once, with three successful title defenses over Conor McGregor, Dustin Poirier, and Justin Gaethje. Nurmagomedov also holds the record for most takedowns in a UFC fight with 21 at UFC 160 against Abel Trujillo.
