Keys behind Bucks hot start

Coming off a 42-40 record last year, the Milwaukee Bucks have been mesmerizing to watch this season. The Bucks are sitting at the top of the Eastern Conference at 7-0. In all seven games, the Bucks have scored more than 100 points, while dominating their opponents. Lets take a look at why the Bucks are best team in the NBA right now.

First and foremost, “The Greek Freak”, better known as Giannis Antetokounmpo, has been pedal to the medal since he came into the league. This season, Antetokounmpo has averaged 25 points and 5.7 assists a game. Any player that achieves these stats can be considered elite. However, one superstar does not lead the team to be 7-0. The Bucks roster has some depth, especially with Eric Bledsoe and Malcolm Brogdon at the guard position. Both players have established themselves as playmakers. Bledsoe has received a lot of negativity since he left the Suns, however, this season he is proving a point to all the critics. Thon Maker, standing at 7’1, is one of the most versatile players on the roster. Maker has only played three games this season, but his impact on the court has benefited the Bucks.

The Bucks have very good chemistry with each other after only a short time. Mike Budenholzer, the head coach, has had a lot of success while coaching in the NBA. Budenholzer was the head coach of the Atlanta Hawks for 5 years, where he won coach of the year in 2015. Coming into the first season with the Bucks in 2018, all eyes have been drawn to his immediate success.

What is next for the Bucks? The key for the hottest team in the NBA right now is to trust the process. The “trust the process” motto was originally developed by the Philadelphia 76ers, however, it is widely used now across all sports platforms. The Bucks have a long road ahead, but an early season preview has been fun to watch.
