The body of Roosevelt Rene was discovered in Janoris Jenkins residence located in Fair Lawn, New Jersey, early Tuesday.
Recent reports from NJ Advance Media have revealed that Rene died during a physical altercation with Janoris Jenkins brother, William Jenkins Jr. Roosevelt Rene was a 25-year old music producer known as ‘Trypps Beatz’. Below is a link to his twitter account: Trypps Beatz Twitter.
Janoris Jenkins 34-year old brother, William, was charged last Wednesday with aggravated manslaughter. Nine hours prior to Rene’s death, William Jenkins Jr. was held in Ontario County Jail for violating the conditions of his parole, according to officials.
NJ.com claimed that the investigation team acquired knowledge of the brawl between Jenkins Jr. and Rene after they interviewed him at Canandaigua Jail. He allegedly fled the state of New York after the fatal fight, per a Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office detective. Jenkins Jr. has had a troubled past, with a total of seven arrests according to court records.

Criminal sale of a controlled substance and criminal possession of a controlled substance: Served 63 months. He was sentenced until May 14, 2017 but granted a conditional release under parole on July 18, 2016.

Parole violation: Taken into custody in Ontario, N.Y. and later charged with aggravated manslaughter by Bergen County Prosecutor’s Office.
It is unknown when Jenkins Jr. will appear in court and Janoris Jenkins has not made any public statements on the situation. Jenkins Jr. is currently awaiting extradition to Bergen County. It has been reported that Janoris has been in Florida since the end of the New York Giant’s minicamp and has been advised by lawyers to remain in Florida for the time being, ESPN reported. Details surrounding Rene’s death have not yet been officially released.
