Greg Olsen Announce Retirement After 14 Seasons

After getting cut by the Carolina Panthers after 9 seasons with the team, Greg Olsen signed with the Seattle Seahawks. In his only season with Seattle, he only played in 11 games, and now Oleson is calling it a career. On Sunday, Greg Olsen announced during the NFC Championship Pre Game Show on FOX, that he is retiring from the NFL after 14 seasons in the league. Along with his retirement, Olsen announced he will be joining FOX as an analyst.

In 14 seasons in the NFL, Olsen has 742 receptions, 8,683 receiving yards, and 60 touchdowns. Even though he started his career in Chicago, Olsen made his presence known in Carolina becoming the security blanket and top target of Cam Newton. With Newton, Olsen had over 1000 receiving yards in a season 3 times and had over 65 receptions in a season 5 times.
