Gionta Retires After Sixteen Seasons

Rochester, New York native Brian Gionta has called it a quits after 16 seasons in the NHL.

Gionta played for New Jersey, Montreal, Buffalo, and Boston over the course of his career where he played in 1,026 games scoring 291 goals and 304 assists.

Winning the Stanley Cup with New Jersey in 2003, Gionta has an incredible resume and has announced he will be accepting a role with the Buffalo Sabres in his next step of his career.
