Former World Series Winner On The Move?

George Springer, 31, has become a household name across his seven Major League seasons with the Astros. Heading into FA, he’s considered by many as the best batter available and he should get some generous offers by numerous teams looking to upgrade their outfield.

Over the course of his career, Springer has been named to the All Star game on three separate occasions and has earned himself two Silver Sluggers awards. He has had 174 HRs since entering the league to go along with a .270 career batting average.

While he has been a steady presence in the Astros is outfield for what seems like a decade now, they’re likely to let him walk free considering they have stellar young players like Kyle Tucker and Yordan Alvarez ready to take over. Multiple teams should throw themselves at him hoping to convince him to join them.

It will be interesting to see where he lands considering he could help almost any team in the MLB on a quest for a championship. We will keep updating on the situation as more information becomes available.
