Former CB Brandon Browner Arrested

An ex-NFL cornerback, Brandon Browner, 33, has been arrested in California, per

Browner allegedly was identified by police in a residence that he had broken into on Sunday morning as officers responded to a call at 10:07am. Browner allegedly forced a victim back into her home, physically harmed and threatened the victim, and stole a Rolex valued at $20,000. Having allegedly fled the scene, police located Browner, and brought him into custody. No further incident occurred, according to a statement released by La Verne Police.

Browner had been in a relationship with the alleged victim but had been arrested in the past for domestic violence charges. Police charged him on account of felony on Sunday afternoon.

Browner was one of the original members of the famed “Legion of Boom”. He had stints playing in the CFL and AFFL, more recently, but had played for the Saints, Patriots, Seahawks and Broncos in a decorated NFL career. He won back-to-back championships with the Seahawks and Patriots. Browner is held on a $2,000,000 bail, per Los Angeles Times.
