First Domino Falls In Crutial Jets offseason

The New York Jets and WR Quincy Enunwa have agreed to a 4 year deal with 20 million in guaranteed money and a top pay of 36 million. The former 6th round pick started off the 2018 campaign ( a year removed from a season ending neck surgery) as the obvious #1 WR of the New York Jets.

The New York Jets have 1 job this off season,  HELP Sam Darnold. This was the first right move in that direction.  Retaining young talent that are key contributors is something every team in the NFL strives to do. The Jets were successful at bringing back a 26 year old who has progressed multiple times over since coming into the league as a hybrid WR/TE/HBack as a rookie.

At his best with shotty QB play, Quincy Enunwa had 58 receptions 857 yards and 4 TDs. Now with soon to be second year signal caller Sam Darnold throwing the football, Enunwa hopes to reach that elite level soon.

The Jets however still have alot of work to do to make this team a contender within the AFC. Robby Anderson is a RFA, Jermaine Kearse is an UFA, as well as Bilal Powell. So expect the big bodied Enunwa to be a featured player in this New York Jets rebuild.
