ESPN, NHL Reach Agreement on Broadcasting Deal

Well ladies and gentlemen, hockey is going back to ESPN for a second shot.

With the NHL, and NBCSN’s 10 year contract coming to an end when this season is over, the NHL, and ESPN have agreed to a 7 year, $200 million deal in which ESPN has rights to half of the NHL games, and four Stanley Cup Finals in the next seven years.

On top of this reportedly Disney has also been given rights to a portion of NHL games next season.
