ECHL Opening Night Rosters

ECHL Opening Night Rosters

Who would have thought we would be ONE day away from the start of the 2020-21 season? Unfortunately this season only 13 of the 26 teams are 100% committed to play this season. But on Monday, Fort Wayne and Toledo were given more time to decide if they will have a season starting in February, while Cincinnati, Idaho, and Kalamazoo joined Atlanta, Norfolk and the Entire North Division in opting out for this season. Below we have projected opening night rosters based on yesterday’s transactions and will be updated as teams or the league releases it. Then on Monday we will have some season predictions! This will be a crazy year for roster moves.

Two new lists are out this season the Commissioner’s Exempt List, which is a temporary deletion of a player due to COVID-19 and the NHL/AHL active list which creates are 3 additional roster spots for NHL/AHL contracted players that don’t count against team salary cap.
