Dirk and Wade Face Off One Last Time

Tonight the Dallas Mavericks and Miami Heat will play as Dirk Nowitzki and Dwayne Wade meet for the last time. Wade announced his retirement this season, but Dirk has yet to confirm if this will be his last year. This is a particularly interesting match up because of their past meetings. They have matched up 34 times are tied at 17-17 wins and losses, 6-6 in play off matches and 11-11 in regular season games.

Nowitzki, 40, was drafted in 1998 and is one of the greatest Power Forwards of all time. A Dallas Maverick his entire career, Dirk is a 14-time All-Star and 12 time All-NBA team member. He is listed sixth on the NBA Career Scoring Leaders list, right behind Michael Jordan. Dirk has had an amazing career and has received a lot of love from fans across the nation while on the road this year.

Wade, 37, began his career in 2003 with Miami Heat. In his first year, he was one of the He has won the championship back to back in 2012 and 2013. Wayne spent 2016-2018 with the Chicago Bulls and then the Cleveland Cavaliers before returning to Miami mid-season on the NBA Trade deadline. Wade has made 13 All-Star appearances. He became known for his game-winning clutch shots, similar to the game-winning shot in a win against the Golden State Warriors, earlier this season.
