Dallas Cowboys Lose Defensive Lineman To Injury

The Dallas Cowboys made news when they signed Everson Griffen to a one year deal over the weekend. Everyone already started talking about how the Cowboys had the best defensive line in the NFL with the addition of Griffen.

On Monday, the Cowboys Announced that DT Gerald McCoy will have season-ending surgery on a torn right quadriceps suffered in practice. This according to executive vice president Stephen Jones.

McCoy spent the first nine years of his career in Tampa Bay and then last season with Carolina. In his career he has amassed 59.5 sacks and a total of 334 tackles. During the offseason he signed a three year, $18 million deal.
