Cristiano Ronaldo Heading To Manchester United

After leaving Sporting CP in 2003, Cristiano Ronaldo signed with Manchester United, where he developed into one of the best players in the world. Just 12 years after selling him for £80 million, Ronaldo is heading to his former team.

According to Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United and Juventus have agreed to a deal to send Cristiano Ronaldo to United. Since 2009, Ronaldo has played for Real Madrid and Juventus.

In 292 games with Manchester United from 2003-2009, Ronaldo had 118 goals and 52 assists. During his time with Manchester United, Ronaldo was crucial to the success of United helping the team win the Premier League three times, the FA Cup, and the Champions League.

Even though Ronaldo is 36, he scored 20+ goals a season with Juventus over the past 3 seasons, so his ability to score goals is still there. With Ronaldo signing with United, the team is improving at striker with Ronaldo to replace Edinson Cavani or Anthony Martial in the starting lineup.

Outside of improving at striker, United is getting a goal scorer in Ronaldo. With the amount of talent at the top of the Premier League, getting another goal scorer was needed for Manchester United to keep up with the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City.

With the likes of Jaden Sancho, Mason Greenwood, Bruno Fernandes Paul Pogba and Harry McGuire already on the team, Manchester United is looking to challenge for the Premier League Title and go deep in the Champions League.
