McGregor’s been in a legal battle for months following his actions in the parking garage at the Barclays Center, where he threw a metal dolly through the window of a grey hound bus – filled with UFC fighters and personnel. While most came off the bus more shaken than anything, however some sustained injuries including fighters Michael Chiesa and Ray Borg – forcing them to be pulled from their bouts later that weekend at UFC 223

With the legal matter behind him, many speculate that this now clears the way for McGregor to make his long awaited return to the octagon. The last time was saw him in UFC was in 2016 when he defeated Eddie Alvarez at UFC 205. Since then, he made his professional Boxing debut, where he lost via TKO in the 10th Round of 12 to Floyd Mayweather.

Currently, reports suggest that a bout betwwen McGregor and current UFC Lightweight Champion Khabib Nurmagomedov is on the horizon. The match itself would be one of the biggest fights in UFC history, not only because of the talent in the cage, but because McGregor’s reason for his dolly attack was because of his person issues with Nurmagomedov
