Cleveland and Garrett Agree to Long Term Extension

Since getting drafted 1st overall by the Cleveland Browns in 2017, Myles Garrett has shown to be one of the most effective pass rushers in the NFL and now he is going to get paid like one. On Tuesday, Cleveland signed Garrett to a fice year contract extension worth $125 Million. Garrett had 2 years left of his rookie contract that he signed in 2017.

In 10 games last season, Garrett recorded 29 tackles, 10 sacks, and 2 fumble recoveries. Even though he had 10 sacks, last year was a drop in production for Garrett due to him getting suspended indefinitely for hitting Pittsburgh Steelers Quarterback Mason Rudolph with his helmet. Garrett was reinstated by the NFL on Febuary 12th.
