Bulls Fire GM After 22 Years In Organization

Chicago Bulls General Manager Gar Forman was ousted on Monday after being with the organization since 1998. He became the General Manager in 2009. No replacement has been named yet.

Forman enjoyed success in his early years with the Bulls, including Derrick Rose’s MVP campaign and a host of playoff appearances. Recent years, however, have been more difficult since trading away Jimmy Butler to the Timberwolves in 2018.

The Bulls have been mixing things up as of late, firing head coach Fred Hoiberg in December 2018 and hiring Arturas Karnisovas as Executive Vice President of Basketball Operations earlier Monday.
