Bryce Harper, the hometown hero last night, slayed the field to win his first Home Run Derby title. Harper is only the third participant ever to win the HR derby while playing on his home field (Todd Frazier at Great American Ballpark and Ryne Sandberg at Wrigley Field). Harper was rockin’ his American attire with the American flag on just about everything he could, including his bat, cleats, headband, sleeve, and socks. Here are the results from last night:

Harper won in dramatic fashion, hitting 9 home runs in the last minute in what seemed to be one right after another. Although Javier Baez had the farthest hit home run at 479 ft., Harper had the next four, ranging from 465 ft. to 478 ft.
