Brodie Lee Passes Away at 41

Since being revealed as the leader of the Dark Order, Brodie Lee has made a huge impact becoming TNT Champion defeating Cody Rhodes and feuding with Jon Moxley for the AEW Championship. After losing the TNT Championship to Rhodes, Brodie Lee has not been seen on AEW. Unfortunately for Brodie Lee, he has passed away. On Saturday, AEW issued a statement on Twitter confirming the death of Lee at the age of 41 due to a non COVID related lung issue.

During his time with AEW and WWE, Lee was an AEW TNT Champion, NXT Tag Team Champion, Intercontinental Champion, SmackDown Tag Team Champion, and won a Slammy Award for Match of the Year that he had at Survivor Series 2014 being apart of Team Authority as they faced Team Cena. Before competing for AEW and WWE, Brodie Lee won titles in Next Era Wrestling, NWA Empire, NWA Mississippi, Jersey All Pro Wrestling, Alpha-1 Wrestling, NWA New York, Squared Circle Wrestling, and World of Hurt Wrestling.
