According to TMZ, Jimmy Uso (real name Jonathan Solofa Fatu), was arrested for threatening police after being pulled over in Detroit. He and his wife, former WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Naomi, were pulled over by Detroit PD after police noticed their car driving the wrong way down a one-way street.
According to TMZ, after being pulled over police stated that the car smelled like booze and Naomi was ordered to step outside the vehicle. It was at this point that police say Jimmy Uso exited the 2018 Dodge Journey, and began taking off his shirt and physically threatening police.
Thankfully, cooler heads prevailed all around, and Jimmy adhered to police commands to calm down. Nevertheless, Jimmy was arrested, taken to jail and would later post bond.
While Jimmy and Naomi seem to be free of criminal charges at the moment, only time will tell if they face any repercussions from WWE management.
As of right now, Jimmy is set to team with his brother Jay to face the SmackDown Live tag team Champions The Miz and Shane McMahon this Sunday at Elimination Chamber. Naomi is also set to be action Sunday. As she, while teaming with Carmella, will be taking part in the first ever all women’s tag team Elimination Chamber match.
