It should be first noted that WWE nor WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion Becky Lynch have made no statements regarding the matter.
However, according to Sean Ross Snapp of Frightful.com, Lynch suffered both a broken nose and possibly a concussion at the end of last night’s episode of Monday Night Raw.
The injury occurred during the final segment of Monday Night Raw, where Becky Lynch led the SmackDown Women’s division in an invasion of the red brand. During the in-ring brawl, Lynch was stiff-armed by Nia Jax and began bleeding profusely from her nose. Lynch didn’t slow down for a minute, as she would finish off the segment by smacking Ronda Rousey with a steel chair a few times and leaving via the crowd.
Looking back at the ring, covered in blood all over her face.
While many have been praising the accident as of the coolest moments in a long time, and anointing Becky Lynch as “The Man” indefinitely (some even calling her the new Stone Cold), however this tune may change with this latest news.
Originally, there was said to be no heat on Nia Jax for the incident, as it was labeled simply as “Sh*t happens”. However, with Lynch being pulled from what many thought could be a match of the night contender, WWE may turn sour on Jax for at least the short term.
With all of this said, questions arise: How long is Lynch out and who will replace her against Rousey this Sunday?
