Since midway through the 2018-19 NBA season, Irving has shown doubt that he wanted to remain with the Boston Celtics. Maybe it was because of the personal reasons or maybe he just could not handle the fact that the Celtics had a better winning percentage without him. Either way it seems as though his stay in Boston has come to an end.
Reports from around the league say that Kyrie is going to sign a deal with the Brooklyn Nets. These reports are showing that he will be looking at $141 million over the course of 4 years.
Other big time free agents such as Kevin Durant are supposedly looking into Brooklyn as well. With the Nets seemingly acquiring Kyrie Irving, it’s looking like Brooklyn may eventually become one of the next powerhouses of the NBA. Stay tuned into Game Changer Sports Network for more updates on this coming free agency.
